2150: I have no idea what I’m doing

(This is my third blog entry for my fall semester J2150 class.)

I am here to say that, for once in my journalistic life, I have no idea what I’m doing.

When I went through J1010 and J1100, most of our assignments were easy and based on things we learned in class. When I started writing for the Maneater at the beginning of my freshman year last year, I was nervous and definitely had (and still have) a lot to learn, but I had my two years of experience on my high school yearbook staff to fall back on.

When I started J2150 a few weeks ago, I knew it would be a challenge. I have absolutely zero experience in multimedia and I definitely felt that during the first couple of photography assignments we had to complete. Now, as we start to work with and record audio, though I look forward to learning, I realize just how little I know. I’m definitely nervous to start doing it on my own next week. I REALLY don’t know what I’m gonna do when we start having to record video.

But hey, that’s what school’s for, right?
