This past Monday, I spent two and a half hours in a freezing Boone County courtroom awaiting the sentencing of Matthew Mackey, a member of the Marine Corps who punched an 18 year old outside The FieldHouse in downtown Columbia in July 2015.
The 18 year old was an innocent bystander, but Mackey’s brother, Andrew, wasn’t.
